NJOHVA Supports NJ OHV Registration Legislation
Currently there's an effort to create OHV registration for New Jerseys OHV users. NJOHVA supports this legislation as well as many from New Jersey's Environmental community. NJOHVA's position is that OHV legislation is long over due and a comprehensive OHV program that funds rider education, OHV park creation and other OHV riding opportunities is good for all New Jersey residents. If you want to know more about the proposed legislation come to the May 6th NJOHVA meeting at Powersport Honda in Metuchen. For direction and time go to:http://www.njohva.org

NJOHVA Receives OHV grant from MIC and SVIA.
New Jersey Off-Highway Vehicle Association (NJOHVA) recently received a grant from the Motorcycle Industry Council (MIC) and the Specialty Vehicle Institute of America. The purpose of the grant is to spread the message on responsible OHV recreation and safety. Again we'd like to thank MIC and SVIA for their generosity and the funds will be put to good use.

NJOHVA now has a New Jersey State House presence!
The New Jersey Off-Highway Vehicle Association (NJOHVA) recently started working with a consultant in Trenton that has been helping spread the word about all the positive things that New Jerseys OHV community is doing as well as the benefits of responsible OHV recreation. In just a short period we have accomplished a lot.

New Jersey has a lot going for it and there's plenty of OHV opportunities if you know where to look.
With close to 250,000 OHV users in the Garden State and available land all but disappearing the riding areas we all once took for granted have all been either developed or turned in to preserved nature areas. Well riding opportunities still exist, but you have to know where to look.
